The meeting began with the prayer and the pledge.  James Grossi ran the meeting as President Rosane was on vacation.  A few announcements: next week we are at Shippy's at 5:30pm for a night meeting.  Thanksgiving Boxes will be on November 13th at 11am.  Tom Guldi was sergeant, and Ed D won the 50/50 and successfully located the Jack of Hearts

Tom pointed out that Alexis had leaves on the back of her jacket. The rotary club first met in a house that used to be in the CVS parking lot.  I learned that Toronto won the World Series in 1992.  Patrick Barry from Camp Pa Quatuck was our program. He told us about all the challenges that the camp has been navigating.  He told us a great story about a camper's parents who have not been on vacation in 15 years. Pat also presented the club with a challenge: to come feed the camp next summer.  He also presented a copy of their wish list.  I'm always impressed to hear about the camp.  We visit the camp a lot, as our Happenings meetings are located there a few times a year.  I hope we can come together and accept Pat's challenge to feed the camp next summer.  He also provided a wish list of what they are looking for to help the camp out in their operations.  We appreciate Pat for visiting us today and provided a check for $250
