There is a 10am meeting on Saturday to talk about the Southampton Sewer Project. Rachel Destephano was our program from Amaryllls Farm. She told us about her passion horses and educated us on horses and the life the live. Some of it was sad . This 501c is responsible for saving 35 horses in the area with 5 locations. The horses after 20 years of life require a lot of attention. We were educated about the horses life. Rachel was nervous and a little uncomfortable speaking to us but she was extremely passionate about her work and I'm glad that we got to hear her story. I learned a lot about horses that i wasn't aware of. I hope we get to invite her back to rotary in the future.
