Elizabeth Harlan: Author

Meeting began with the prayer and the pledge.  Tom had is brother Jim in from Florida.  Racheal Hulse made an announcement about next week's Fresh Air Home.   Asking everyone to show up at 10:45am, wrapping up at 2pm.  Rosane made an announcement about the Gift of Life: Gala, asking 10 people to join us for the gala, looking for a contribution of $150.  The gala is on September 13th.  Tim Corwin made an announcement about this Saturday's hike through Tuckahoe Woods, 9am.  We talked again about the flower sale to possibly happen around Valentines Day, and to sell roses.  We'll continue to research this.  Welcome to Southampton Sign, featuring all of the Southampton Clubs.  We are starting to fill out the application and keep the club updated.   Harold Wilson was our sargeant, and Paul won the 50/50.  Again, i carried the bucket missed the questions but i have to say Harold had some stumpers to ask and raised a lot of money in the bucket today.  Our program was Elizabeth Harlan, she was here to talk about her book Becoming Harley Klien, i think many of us were fascinated by the plot, some of us purchased the book.  Check out Amazon if you missed out.  We thank Elizabeth for coming out to see us, and we wish her the best with the book.
