Every year multiple rotary clubs around the globe come together in service, for Epic Day of Service. This year the Southampton Rotary met at the North End Graveyard in Southampton. The club met with Southampton Town historian Julie Greene who lectured us about the history of Southampton. Julie walked around the cemetery and told us stories about the gravestones we were seeing. In attendance were rotarians President: Rosane Cassella, Treasurer Paul Cassella, Michael Gomberg, Alexis Mayer, Sean Dennehy, Laurie Wiltshire and our organizer/chair Vicki Kahn. Our group when on to clean each stone with a special cleaning solution that removes all of the dirt from the gravestones. Leaving them shiny and clean to read. It was an amazing day.
