Our meeting began with cocktails at 5:30pm. The mood was set to classical music provided by Hamptons DJ, at Laurie's request. Laurie rang the bell, we did the prayer and the pledge. Paul introduced Laurie. Laurie presented our awards with Academy Theme music, and a red carpet. We had a few Rotary dignitaries present Tom Crowley, Lydia Wells, Pamela Greene. Laurie gave a Paul Harris Fellow to John Larkin. Tom Crowley said some nice words about Rosane. Rosane and Paul presesented the new plaques for the Past Presidents. Paul received a Paul Harris Fellow, and the Rotarian of the Year for 2025. Lydia did the oath of office to Rosane, and the officers. We presented a slide show that the Opening Act created. There was tremendous effort from Rosane, Laurie, and Paul to bring together this special day and I told Mom on Monday. We throw a great party and she agreed with me. Look below for the photo gallery
