He talked about his work in the area for over 30 years. He's continued his passion for protecting the environment into his project Mecox Bay Conservancy which is working on cleaning up Mecox Bay. He's gained 4 grants and continues to work on more. The group has raised a million dollars so far and continues to advocate for house IAS systems to help protect the water. Mecox was voted one of the 10 worst bodies of water and the direct effects of pollution on property value. We appreciate Jay for stopping by rotary and educating our members.
