Meeting began with the prayer and the pledge.  Tim Corwin talked about a hike this Saturday 4.8 miles through laurel valley, starts at 12pm, hike will be for 2 hours.  Paul made an announcement for Picture Day, be sure to register one way or the other.  If you can't be there send your headshots in .  The Rotary modeling agency is officially open for business.  Nick Dyno had an idea to do a leadership conference with the student rotary clubs.  Sean spoke about East End Media Inititive.  Full speed ahead on this 10 week campaign spread over radio, newsletter, and print.  Greenport, East Hampton, Southampton, and Westhampton will all be participating and the cost will be based on the total membership.  Conversation broke out about a joint holiday party.  Seamus made an announcement about Spaghetti Dinner (Unofficially) May 19th.  Tom Guldi was sargent.  Nick wins the 50/50.  People were fined if they didn't see a robin in February as this is when they make their appearance in the sky.  This date in 1800 there was tie in the electoral college.  1939 there was a nazi rally at MSG.  1st American to orbit the solar system was John Glenn,  Alan Shepard was the first astronaught to orbit space in 1961 .  Tom's class saw the launch of the space shuttle at a launch party with his class.   Paul Delzatto was our guest at rotary  today keeping the spirit of volunteer alive at Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.  He talked about there weekend camp outs all year long.  His son built a pergola in front of the Ford dealership in Southampton.   It's always great to hear from Paul he's always so fired up  about the work that he's doing.  We presented a check for 1500, and 500 respectfully.
