Meeting began with the prayer and the pledge.  Tom G had a guest his brother Jim.  Mark and Alexis spoke about Southamptonfest kickoff party.  All members are required to purchase 6 tickets.  Tickets are $35.   Sponsorships are $250.  We will be having appetizers and food trucks.  Rosane talked about district happenings , the AG conference.  We donated $250 to Gift of Life for Salim who was scheduled to have heart surgery but because he had issues with their teeth.  They had to delay the surgery and take care of the teeth first.

Karen Acker was our sargent and also won the 50/50.  Karen picked the 2 of spades, so another week continues to find the Jack of Hearts.  In 2003 country star Johnny Cash passed away. The Lascaux paintings, discovered in 1940 when some teenagers followed a dog into the cave, feature hundreds of images of animals that date to around 17,000 years ago. I was excited to hear it was National Chocolate Milkshake Day.  Our program was Bianca Collins .  The secretary of  the Shinnecock Tribal Council.    She talked about everything that goes on, on they do on the reservation and improving relations between the tribe and the community  We invited her to join rotary.
