The Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser date has been set. May 8th from 4pm-9pm. If you would like to volunteer there is a sign up sheet at the desk. More info coming soon. Sponsorships are available for $250. 29 Sponsorships have been sold so far. Keep up the good work. If you are available to volunteer that day, please let us know. SELL SELL SELL those tickets. On Saturday, May 20, 2023, more than 500 Rotary clubs and 14,000 Rotarians across 5 states and 3 countries, from Connecticut to Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, and New York in the United States, plus the countries of Bermuda and Brazil, will volunteer in their communities for an unprecedented Rotary Day of Service, collecting clothes for homeless, refurbishing parks, and, much, much more. If you would like to participate in the day. Please register on the website and let us know what size t-shirt you are. T-shirt Orders need to be in before April 13th , 2023. Our meeting began with the prayer and the pledge. Tom Guldi as sargent did Stump the Rotarian. Rotarians asked questions to Tom based on his knowledge of 1920 American History . I'm always impressed with Tom's knowledge when he speaks, also shocked that we stumped him quite a bit. Our program was Susan of Southampton Day Care. She discussed the challenges of running a day care center in 2023.
The Scholarship committee is making great progress in handing out 6 Scholarship to Southampton students, and 1 Scholarship to a Bridgehampton Student. They will be conducting interviews via zoom on May 2nd
