Board met with Rose Quaranta prior to the meeting. We reviewed our service projects, and our fundraisers. Rose advised us that we were doing a good job. We need to enter our goals in a my rotary.org. We were reminded to send all flyers to the district when we have something planned. The regular meeting began with the prayer and the pledge. Michael Gomberg gave us a report on the investment account, which is doing extremely well. The question we should all be asking is does Ed S look like Paul Harris? Feel free to weigh in with your opinions. Ed S also won the 50/50 but the jack of hearts remains in hiding. Tim Corwin they will be going ahead with the life preserver project at the Shinnecock inlet. Ed also told us the senior concierge project has been given approval . Rose shared some of her experiences as a rotarian. Lots of great information centered around the word ASK. It's important to keep people engaged by asking them what they want from Rotary, and then helping and supporting to reach those aspirations.
